Pelvic floor release

In order to have healthy function in your pelvic floor, you need to be able to both contract, and release, the muscles. Sometimes we think the root of pelvic floor dysfunction is the muscles being too weak, when really, they are too tight.

For this release you will need a Mellow round, and a place to sit. If sitting on the floor is not accessible, you can use a chair and sit legs wide instead.

This release can bee a little intense at first, so we recommend starting with just a few breaths, and working your way up to a couple minutes at a time.

As with all releases, please listen to your body, and trust your sensations. slight discomfort is to be expected. Pain or major discomfort means you need to reposition, or avoid this release for now.
