Is Wellround an MLM?
We’re not. Wellround is an independently owned small business owned and run by Kory, with generous help from her team (aka, family). In addition to the physical products we offer, we have developed our own method of myofascial release that we certify other instructors in, to teach to their students. We also offer our products wholesale to retailers and studios, just like other wellness brands you might be familiar with.

Do I need any other equipment to use Wellround?

Nope! These tools really are designed to be used anywhere! We do suggest a yoga or exercise mat to help prevent slipping if you’re using them on the floor, and a yoga block can be really useful for some techniques as well, but neither of those are required to use the Wellround balls.

How is Wellround different from foam rollers?

Wellround balls are designed to be the perfect size, texture and density for the most effective and versatile deep tissue massage for everybody and every body part. Foam rollers can be great for certain applications, but generally can only address large areas of the body, they depend on body weight pressure on the floor, and only move in one direction. Wellround allows for multi-directional movement, varied pressure by switching from floor, to wall, to hand, allowing for better and deeper release. It can access everything from the largest muscle groups to the tiniest areas or trigger points, and also fits easily in a backpack or gym bag, making it more portable than a traditional foam roller.

How is Wellround different from lacrosse or tennis balls?

For most people tennis balls become too soft to offer much therapeutic value, and lacrosse balls are the opposite- too firm, being both very uncomfortable and posing a risk of injury to nerves and bone.
Wellround balls are made of a natural rubber that is the perfect density, soft yet firm, allowing for the maximum therapeutic benefit. They are grippy, pliable self massage tools that push through layers of skin, muscle, and fascia to provide a deep effective massage while still being gentle enough not to cause the body to contract and tighten with fear or pain. Because of the grippy texture they allow for a shearing effect against the skin that can help clear superficial adhesions and benefit your nervous system without giving you a “rug burn” like tennis balls can. Please note that many Wellround techniques aren’t safe to do with a lacrosse ball.

Is the Wellround system hard to use?

Not at all. Wellround is made for everyone. Every age, every size, every ability. The techniques we teach are simple and easy to understand, with lots of options for adaptation, and once you have used them a few times much of the use is fairly intuitive- after all, no one knows your body better than you!

How long do the balls last?

This will depend on how much and how often you use them, and how they are cared for. Because they are made of a natural rubber they will break down over time, but most people who use them two hours a week will likely want to look at replacement after 2-3 years.

How much does the Wellround Kit cost?

The standard kit is $50, and the deluxe kit is $60. It’s important to us to keep the kit affordable to everyone, because we believe wellness is for everyone. We also offer a limited number of discounted kits each month to BIPOC and LGBTQ+ communities, on the honor system. Simply use code WELLNESS4ALL at checkout.
