Safety

These practices are often uncomfortable by nature but they should never be painful.

Pay attention to your breath and sensations throughout. If your breath is short, shallow or irregular or if you’re tensing your muscles, clenching your jaw, or grunting, you need to back off.

If you feel pinching, cramping, tingling or pain, you need to do less.

Try using a lighter pressure technique for a shorter duration. If this is still too intense, work the surrounding areas and skip the spot at the epicenter of tension until it mellows-out.

If you are under the care of a medical professional or are pregnant, talk to your physician.

Be sure you have their permission and guidance for how to use Wellround and how to engage in massage that’s safe for you before you begin.
